Now you can with Reading Plus, an adaptive reading program used to improve the reading levels of students across the District. We want to inform you that Boca Raton High School has partnered with Student Conductor to bring a new and modern way to effectively process tardies and disciplines. As a result, you will begin to receive instant notifications via email when your child incurs any tardies throughout the school year. This system enhances our communication and accountability and will greatly benefit the school, you the parent/guardian and your child. While the system is designed to communicate through email, if you would like to opt-in to text message notifications, that feature is also available. Parents and students will soon have an opportunity to learn about the 310 Choice Programs offered through the School District of Palm Beach County at the annual Showcase of Schools.
On Tuesday, October 17 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Expo Center at the South Florida Fairgrounds, representatives from 114 different campuses will be available to answer questions about the strengths and educational opportunities offered at each of their schools.
Families with students entering Pre–Kindergarten through Grade 12 can choose from a range of programs at the elementary, middle, and high school levels that provide innovative and rigorous academic instruction by specially trained teachers.
Choice applications for the 2018-2019 school year will be accepted starting November 1st at www.mypbchoiceapp.com. Deadlines for applications will vary depending on the program selected.
To support students and families affected by Hurricane Irma, the College Board will offer a free November SAT registration and a CSS Profile fee waiver for all interested Palm Beach County students.
The free November SAT registration and CSS Profile fee waiver are for students who are experiencing hardship and/or displacement due to the hurricane and are in an area designated by FEMA, which includes Palm Beach County.
- Students who are already registered for the November 4th SAT should call Customer Service to receive a refund of their registration and late fee.To reach Customer Service, please call 866-756-7346.
- Students can register for the November 4th test or contact Customer Service for refunds up to October 25th.
- For the College Scholarship Service Profile fee waiver, students should go to cssprofile.org, complete their application, and the system will automatically apply eligibility rules. To reach CSS Profile Customer Service, please call 844-202-0524.
