Freshman Boot Camp

Freshmen boot camp will be held on August 10, 2017 from 9-1. Students will receive their schedule, a locker, a tour, a shirt, meeting current students, information from deans and lunch. This will cost $30 and can be paid on School cash online ( until June 10. We will resume taking payments in mid July.

Pre-ordered 2017 Paw yearbooks will be distributed next week according to the following schedule:
– Seniors, Monday, May 1st
– Juniors, Tuesday, May 2nd (seniors welcomed)
– Sophomores, Wednesday, May 3rd (juniors and seniors welcomed)
– Freshmen, Thursday, May 4th (sophomores, juniors, and seniors welcomed)
– All students, Friday, May 5th
Yearbooks may ONLY be picked up during LUNCH in room 5-210.
Students needing to buy a yearbook must purchase on school cash for $105 and come on their designated day with their school cash receipt. Extra yearbooks are extremely limited. Purchasing on school cash does NOT guarantee a book. Books will be given based on who is in line with their paid receipt.

Poetry Final Competition

Good afternoon colleagues:

     Our Boca High Slam Poetry Team has advanced past 40 high school teams from all over South Florida and will  perform in  Louder Than a Bomb Florida’s  Final Four this Saturday evening from 6-8 pm at  Nova Southeastern University’s Epstein Center for the Performing Arts, 3375 SW 75th Ave. Davie. This is a high-energy, exciting (read: nerve-wracking!) competition sponsored and attended by former Miami Dolphin Jason Taylor. If you would like to attend, please let me know and I can get you coupons (as many as you’d like) for $5 tickets.
     Please support  poets Nathaniel Hopwood, Veronica Mentor, Madison Shaw, Jennifer Bezerra, Samantha Maughan, Rebecca Pincus, Madison Lynn, Juliette Armsworthy, and Karla Herrera as they head to the Final Four on Saturday night.
  If you would like to attend, please stop by Student Services and pick up coupons (as many as you’d like) for a $5 ticket.

Optional Spring Break Practice for Secondary Schools

In an effort to help students continue to practice important skills over the spring break, the Department of K-12 Curriculum has put together optional spring break learning resources for students in the areas of reading, mathematics, science and social studies. The resources also include links to the Destiny Library, MackinVIA eBooks and SAT practice.  These optional spring break resources can be accessed directly by students and parents at:
